Great value, looks great I have very expensive American made Craftsman style outdoor lamps but needed one more for back porch and didn't want to spend big $$$. This one blends perfectly, is very well made and a fraction of cost of other brands. I did have to assemble some of it and the glass is not quite the same as the high end ones but the frame looks just like them. Hey America, we need to to start manufacturing for less, we are getting hammered. September 8, 2011

Can I use a 40 or 60 watt bulb instead of a 100 watt bulb?

The Vaxcel Lighting OD37276 can be used with a 40 watt or 60 watt bulb instead. The maximum wattage bulb allowed would be 100 watts.

How is the bulb changed in this fixture; is the bottom open or do you have to remove a part to change bulb?

The bottom of the Vaxcel Lighting OD37276 is open allowing for easy bulb changing access.

how long is the chain and the cord

One answer says the bottom is solid bronze, but the other says it's open. Which is it?

Is the ceiling mounting plate that this hangs from round or square?

The canopy is round and measures 5" in diameter.

These lights seem to all be for out door. Can they be used for indoor lighting ? Also, is any colored glass other than honey opal available ?

The Vaxcel Lighting OD37276 can be used indoors as well. This glass is only available in the finish shown.
