Can a CFL bulb (13W) be used?

Yes, 13w CFL bulbs can be used as long as it does not exceed the 60 wattage.

Hi, what color is the globe clear or opaque?, thanks.

This item has seeded glass which has a yellowish tint to it.

What is the metal material? I want to use it at the shore but want to avoid rusting.

The Vaxcel Lighting OW21581 does not have either of those functions. This is operated by an on/off switch.
