What type of rough in box is required if any for this light?

The Vaxcel Lighting WS55508 is designed to be hardwired to a switch and does not need any sort of rough in.

Is there a smaller sconce similar to this one?

The Vaxcel Lighting WS55508 is the only wall sconce they have in this collection.

This light is more so a darker mood light, than an ambient light due to the burnished bronze print on the fixture itself. This light can be used with a max wattage of 100, however you can use a smaller wattage.
