Single Handle Kitchen Faucet with Pull-Out Spray and 18-1/2" Spout Height 4.6 5 4 5

Very good faucet I would say the faucet is excellent except for a couple of minor quibbles. First the positives. It looks great. It is easy to install. It works well in most situations. It does not require extra air space above the sink to fit in most kitchen cabinet situations. The spray is strong and effective. The negatives are that the spout/head holder swivels with the spout when the head is withdrawn from the holder to use as a spray. This means that the holder is often in the way when using the spray to rinse things. The hose, at least in my installation, is difficult to pull out to use as a spray. This may loosen up with time. Neither of these are deal breakers, but if I had the head room in this situation I would have gotten a more elaborate pre-rinse style faucet that comes free of the holder and which can be preset to a certain pressure and temperature and operated from the head instead of the main valve. This works very well in the circumstances. I would recommend it. November 2, 2011

Great Professional Look and Functionality I recently installed this faucet in my home's kitchen and am very pleased with it. The installation was quick and easy, and the faucet looks and performs beautifully. The finish matched perfectly to my existing soap dispenser, and the hole cover that I bought for the other sink hole was a perfect match as well. I would have liked an escutcheon plate as an option, but in the end I did not need it, and like the clean look of the hole cover better. My favorite feature is that the spray switch is not momentary, meaning it will stay on stream mode or spray mode even after you turn off the faucet. August 10, 2011

Love this faucet! Heavy Duty. I was very impressed by the construction of this faucet. It is as explained in the description. Very well built and heavy. You can rotate it on the counter if you need to. As far as hooking it up, I had no problem at all. The faucet comes with the special tools need for the installation. I would purchase another VIGO product without hesitation! May 16, 2011

Thrilled! This faucet looks awesome and works great. I did a lot of research on faucets like this one. This was the best price and I couldn't be happier with it. I love the industrial look. The spray nozzle is perfect for rinsing the sink. It seems like we have incredible water pressure through this faucet, which wasn't present with the old faucet. May 1, 2011

How much clearance behind the faucet will I need for the hot/cold handle if mounted on the side?

Vigo recommends a 3" clearance for this unit.

I read somewhere that the nozzle is plastic. Is this true?

The nozzle for the Vigo VG02001 is made of durable plastic to prevent scalding during hot water use.

What is the minimum backsplash distance to allow room for the water temperature lever?

The Vigo VG02001 handle moves back 2.5", I would say to be comfortable you should have the back splash 3" from the back of the unit.

Is there a spray and stream mode?

The Vigo VG02001 has a spray and stream mode.

is this faucet California and Vermont compliant for lead?

Yes, the Vigo VG02001 is a low lead compliant fixture.

What's the difference between this faucet adn the Vigo VG02001K1?

The Vigo VG02001 does not come with a deck (escutcheon) plate, whereas the VG02001K1 does. Otherwise, the faucets are identical.

Can this be installed with wall cabinet above sink?

The Vigo VG02001 has an overall height of 18.5", so if your cabinet allows for that much space, plus another three inches for moving the spout during use, then it would work with your application.
