Excellent Shower Panel! I am very pleased with this shower panel. I had purchased another brand from a different website, but ended up returning it. This one comes with the tub spout too, which is what I needed. The other one I had purchased felt cheap and very plasticy. This one does have a lot of plastic on it, but it feels much more solid and higher quality. I love the way the controls work on it, and the digital thermometer is really cool. It has a nice rubber seal on the back too which the other one didn't have. For this price, you can't go wrong. The other brands (Kohler, etc) charge thousands of dollars for their shower panels. Shower System great look , poor design on hand shower August 15, 2011

Mixed Feelings This was a difficult install on a new construction application. I hired a plumber and it was still a struggle. Unit works well but now a piece has fallen off. I know I will not be buying another product for my new construction projects August 11, 2011

Installation Great product! I would give it 5 stars but I feel like this product could use some help with the installation process. Its pretty hard tightening the supply lines to your valves coming out of the wall. Longer supply lines would be nice. Also, make sure you have excellent water pressure, as with any body spray system it requires great water pressure to really work properly. November 22, 2010

Can you use the body sprays and the shower head at the same time? What is the GPM (gallons per minute) required?

A. Yes, you should be able to run the body sprays & handshower at the same time. It would require 6.3 GPM to utilize both functions however I would keep it on the safe side & account for gallons/minute required utilizing all the functions at once (which would be 9.7)

What size are the connection hose nuts for the water supply?

A. The Vigo VG08001 comes with a 1/2" female tread, the plumber will need the 1/2" male end.

we want to use this in a re-modeling project, and the plumber thinks that we will not have enough water pressure to handle this. we have 1/2" pipes - is he right? do we need 3/4" pipes to use this?

A. The Vigo VG08001 has a recommended water pressure of 45-87. and uses 6.3 GPM to operate. the 1/2 lines may not allow the GPM rate required.

A. The Vigo VG08001 comes with a 1/2" female tread, the plumber will need the 1/2" male end.

A. The handles on the Vigo VG08001 are stainless steel.

can you extend the shower head further out? What part would it require?

A. The Vigo VG08001 can be used with any shower arm of any length. If you are looking for an arm that has an extended length you may consider the K-10124.

can i set a specific water temp with this unit or do i have to order one the units with digital thermometers. does thermostatic valve mean that i can always have a preset temp for the water

A. The Vigo VG08001 use a thermostatic valve meaning that you have one knob that controls the temperature exclusively. This means that you can leave the knob at your desired temperature, turn the shower off and then back on and it will still be at the exact same temperature.
