Under Cabinet Light I bought 4 of them and they are really cool looking and work well. However, I wish they are cheaper... All and all we like them. June 23, 2008

When the light is on the low switch, what is the wattage? When it is on high, is the lighting diffused or is a "spot" lighting? I'm hoping the high setting will provide a work light, but the low switch will give ambiance lighting.

The WAC Lighting BA-LIX-2 will provide adequate light in a work situation, a lot of the light is going to depend on the surface that it is pointing at. This light is not a spot light; it is very different from a spot light.

Do you sell an extension cord that would run between these lights if they will not be right next to one another?

This product can be used with the following extension cords available by the manufacturer: da-ic12wt - 12 foot extension cord da-ic24wt - 24 foot extension cord da-ic36wt - 36 foot extension cord

I'm installing 5 light bars. One is 36" and four are 12". Can I install with hard wire and control with a wall dimmer switch?

Yes on the sides it has knockouts you can use to hardwire.

I need an under cabinet that is less than 11.5 inches and a plug too?

If you are looking for an under cabinet light that is less than 11.5 inches and has a plug I suggest Kichler 10562. It is 7 inches and has a plug.

what size is this fixture?
