The WAC Lighting LED-T-1 in Amber will put off more of a orange colored light as opposed to the white which will be a bright white. If you really don't like the strong bright white light then I would elect to go for the Amber colored lights. Neither will really mirror a halogen light as these are LED.
The WAC Lighting LED-T-1 will actually connect to one another so as long as you are running a straight line you will not need additional connectors (one end of these is a female connection & the other is a male.)
