Didn't fit I bought this because Consumer Reports gave Waste King good reviews and it seemed a good value. However, I sent it back because it didn't fit under my new, deeper sink, so I can't say anything about its performance. My plumber tried to make it work, but ultimately could not. Be aware that this may be an issue with a deeper sink. I have since been informed, as well, that Waste King is more on the west coast and I might have had problems servicing it here in the east. what does 3- BMT stand for on the 9980, does everything come with this unit to mount and hook up dishwasher

The Waste King 9980 is a 3-Bolt Mount System. This product has a dishwasher hook-up included.

Does this have a dishwasher connection and does this have a blade under the plate?

All Waste King disposers have dishwasher connections. The Waste King 9980 does not need a blade under the plate as the grind ring spins at such high RPMs. If you have any other questions I would be happy to help.
