Is the Weslock 3705I surface mounted?

The Weslock 3705I is surface mounted.

what is the dimension of the knob?

The Weslock 3705I is 2-3/16" in diameter.

Would this dummy be used for a door that has a ball catch? One that needs to be accessed two ways? If not, what would be used for a door like that?

The Weslock 3705I would be fine for a ball catch door. Two will need to be purchased for the interior and exterior respectively.

Can you use these on bifold closet doors?

The Weslock 3705I can be used for a bi-fold.
