Good function The parts are all metal and have a nice solid feel. Once they were installed, they function great! The latch easily and securely closes. I installed this on 5 exterior doors and I'm very happy. April 27, 2011

Do you have to use a key for the interior?

The Weslock 3771 is a single cylinder deadbolt. A single cylinder has a knob on the interior, a double cylinder would have a key on the interior and exterior.

Does this Weslock have a Schlage keyway? Thanks.

The Weslock 3771 can be purchased with a Schlage keyway by special order.

Please explain the difference latch types

A drive in latch type is when a latch has no face plate. It is used for hollow door types. A round corner and square corner latch are the most typical latch types used and are simply latches with either a round face plate or a square face plate.
