Just what I wanted I bought these deadbolts (2) because I purchased a new door and it was already drilled for a deadbolt. I decided it was time to upgrade the other door at the same time. It was a perfect fit and easy to install plus it matches the rest of the door hardware. June 13, 2011

if you trust CR get this I can't say whether this is good or bad. I trust Consumer Review and they said it was good. Homedepot and this site were the only retailers I could find. Homedepot would not allow choosing options based on my door, this site had live chat and the rep helped me customize my order. Satisfied with this product but unfortunately the same level of information and help is not available for other products here. Buy only after researching items elsewhere. November 15, 2010

Ugly I ordered several locks for a remodel. The locks were ugly and stuck out a lot in the door. I wanted a more modern and subtle look, so this was not for me. Also, compared with Baldwin, the quality was not quite there. However, you get what you pay for, so if you spend $$ for Baldwin you get quality. I sent all the locks back and bought Baldwin instead. Recommended by CR I chose this product because it was highly rated by Consumer Reports. I had no problems installing it. The finish looks good and the lock functions as it should. It's resistance to break in has not been tested so I can't comment on that. January 18, 2010

Nice set at a good price I bought two of these to replace some really cheap deadbolts that were failing after only 8 years. These work well, look good, and were a good value. The only problem I had was that one of them was a little dry and I had to grease it up to make it work smoothly. October 10, 2009

Very good deadbolt I ordered 4 of these keyed the same, because they were rated as most secure and a best buy by a consumer magazine. I am very satisfied with them, and having them come with the same key is a great bonus. They arrived quickly. January 30, 2009

Great product, slightly tricky install Overall, instructions and template were clear. Since this was a first time install, I got the holes right on the door, but the main hole in the jamb was off. (its my fault, used the wrong center). Luckily, the bolt still fit correctly when I moved the strike plate. A little wood fill next time we paint will cover everything up. Be careful drilling your door and jamb! July 7, 2008
