There are two lighting modes in the SurfaceShield™ LED light, an everyday white light perfect for task lighting and the SurfaceShield™ continuous antimicrobial mode. Also included is our NEW CleanCover™ grille, which stays cleaner longer with less louvers for dust and dirt to get trapped in. This upgrade grille is compatable with any legacy Broan or NuTone lighted InVent, Flex, or Roomside Series fan (model numbers starting with "A").

Product Technologies:

• SurfaceShield™ Antibacterial LED Lighting: Integrated SurfaceShield™ LED module powered by Vital Vio® technology harnesses specific wavelengths of visible light to excite certain molecules found in the cells of bacteria, mold and fungi, but not in those of humans, pets and plants. When these molecules are excited it causes a toxic reaction within the cell which destroys it. This means that between cleanings of surfaces exposed to this lighting, the bacteria load is reduced to a fraction of what it would otherwise be because the Vital Vio® technology is continuously destroying the bacteria that is redeposited on the surface.
