The Terra Pedestal convinces the eye that it is made entirely from natural wood, but in fact its surface is metal that has been wrapped over a hand-carved wood substrate and pushed into place to amplify a natural grain pattern. Once the dynamic ornamentation has been fully achieved, the top columnar portion isd while the inset base is made of that has been lightly texturized. This is a truly artisanal piece.
