Lifetime Warranty: As an American company, American Standard faucets are built tough. Their products live longer in one place than most people do. Drip-free ceramic disc valves, high-grade lead-free brass alloys, and stainless steel drain cables name just a few of the features which make American Standard bathroom faucets the industry’s longest lasting. To back this up, all American Standard faucets are covered under a lifetime warranty.
Indestructible Finishes: Through employing only the best finishing practices, such as physical vapor deposition, American Standard faucet finishes are some of the strongest in the industry. When the finish is actually incorporated into the faucet, rather than a coating on the outside, the result is a flawless appearance that eliminates tarnishing, pitting, and peeling while hiding scratches. For this reason, American Standard faucet finishes are fully covered under the lifetime warranty.

Replaced After Only Two YearsI just replaced one of these. When I first looked at the faucet, I thought there was some debris around the joint causing the faucet to stick. Actually pieces of the the thin chrome plating had chipped away. The metal underneath was heavily corroded, stained black, and expanding (explaining the sticking joint). It had already begun to leak water, and I decided it was irreparable.
I can't say it's a cheaply made faucet; it is solid and heavy. Don't expect it to last very long, however. The chrome plating is either too thin or too poorly bonded to protect the faucet.
The design itself is also silly. Why should a single handle, all-in-one faucet require 3 holes and a massive base? I would highly recommend buying one of the sets that connects each part (the faucet head, the control(s), a side spray, and sometimes a soap dispenser) through a single hole. That way it's easier to install (no plumber's putty necessary, disgusting stuff), clean, and repair. With the control handle separate from the faucet arm there is also less pressure on that joint; the arm is easier to move and less likely to bind later.
I looked at American Standard's warranty before replacing the faucet. It states: "The limited warranty excludes damage due to aggressive air or water conditions, or harsh or abrasive cleaners and/or materials." So basically if you use your faucet as a faucet, don't expect them to honor the lifetime warranty.

Very Nice faucet! This is a very nice faucet. It works better than the Cadet I replaced.
The water moves faster so the water gets hotter faster. I am very pleased with it.

Great featuresOur kitchen faucet is now four years old and is working great. I love the features that include a long spray hose, hign faucet and easy on and off operation. Our American Standard faucet gets a workout with daily use and steam cleaming duties. The shine is great!

Hard to RepairAfter about 5 years it started leaking. Since it was under warranty I was sent another cartridge. In installed it--still leaked. I was sent some other seals for beneath the cartridge and installed them--leaked worse. I had also been sent some additional seals for the spout, but haven't been able to get the spout off. Right not it is completely unusable. I've replaced a lot of seats and springs and seals before, but I have never had such issues as with this one.

Excellent mid-range productMy review after six months of use: This faucet has many useful features. For example: - Long, extra-tall spout allows large containers and pots to be placed under it. - The spout can swivel can swivel all the way to the side, allowing complete access to the sink. - The chrome finish is attractive and is more corrosion-resistant than certain other finishes. - Cartridges with ceramic valves are superior to rubber seals (like those in some Delta faucets) - Lifetime warranty The only con that I can detect after extended usage: - The chrome finish is slightly less scratch-resistant than the brushed finish. There is some minor swirling, although one must look carefully to see it. One would have to use some effort (e.g. scrubbing very hard with a scouring pad) to make noticeable marks in the finish. Overall, this is an ideal faucet for a typical kitchen. It displays a mix of excellent design and well-thought out features. Also, the price will not hurt your wallet too much.
