Estimated Fixture Cost: $6,000
I wanted a modern look that matched his personal tastes. I went for a high-contrast look with the black painted cabinets, the stainless steel details and the white countertops and backsplash. I saved money by choosing two major upgrades, appliances and countertops, and discovered other, more affordable ways to create his perfect kitchen.
Updates Made:
Countertops, painted cabinets, sink, faucet, hardware, backsplash, and appliances

The Remodel is in the Details

Before Appliances

The comfortable kitchen needed a more industrial looking upgrade. So I kept my themes and finishes the same for a fully uniformed look. The stainless steel appliances and fixtures tie this entire kitchen together. Notice my decor and electrical plates also follow this stainless steel look.

Before Sink and Faucet

I went with a deep, single-basin sink for a more industrial look. It pairs well with the long cabinet pulls and single-hole faucet.

More Upgrade Details

The under cabinet lighting offers a new lighter look and the white backsplash and white countertops keep the kitchen brighter, contrasting with the black cabinets.
