Custom Wood 52" (Pack of 5)
Craftmade Fan Blades
Be careful when ordering Craftmade Fan Blades. There are two different bolt patterns and you have to be cognizant of the one that you need for your model of fan.
Also, please be aware that the pictures of the fan blade colors on the web site are only approximate. Once you have the blades in your hand, you will see that they do not quite match the colors on the web site. Be prepared to return and exchange them if a good color match is important to you. Build.com is good about exchanges, but you have to pay the return shipping yourself for a preference change like color.
The fan blades are the best in quality, fit, function and appearance.

Could not find fan blades to go with my woodwork. Looked everywhere and not happy. Because I do my own woodwork, I decided to get unfinished ones and do my own. I completed them and my husband put them on my fan and I am very, very happy with them. I would buy them again, and will at a later date, to replace two other fan blades that I'm not satisfied with.

A little dissapointed
The "charred" coloration was obviously applied with a brush and not very skillfully. They looked really fake and tacky - on the other hand they are wood and we were able to use some steel wool and stain to create a more subtle and graduated overall color . As far as functionality is concerned - they work great.

Blades sold separately
For this Craftmade fan, the blades were sold separately. A little bit of a pain and extra expense, but it allows you to customize the fan. It was not the easiest to install as the instructions did not include the light kit. But it looks great and it is different from what you see in every store.
