A Fine FaucetI spent a lot of time on-line investigating faucets. I had to stay within a budget and this one seemed to offer all I wanted at a reasonable price. It replaces a similar faucet I'd had for at least 15 years. My only reservation is that after a couple of months, I'm still having difficulty fine-tuning water temperature. The faucet handle works on a ball-bearing-style fitting and it's a little fussy. Otherwise, I'm perfectly happy with it. I had a plumber do the installation--I could not have done it myself--but I knew that going in.

Very goodI have an open floor plan apartment and needed a low faucet so as not to tower over the counter separating the kitchen from the general living area. The height of this faucet is perfect and I've been using it for about a month and the mechanics are flawless. I like that it was made in USA too.

Wand Assembly breaks easilyI had a contractor install this faucet, about 6 months ago, and it's only been used maybe 10 days worth of use, at a remote vacation cabin. When using it, the Wand Assembly came off when pulled out just a couple of inches. The plastic locking feature had broken. Examination shows that the locking feature is a very small plastic nub that is slightly spring loaded, with about 1/16th of an inch of plastic connecting it. I assume the plastic part is factory installed, since you can only replace the entire wand assembly as a unit (screw onto the hose). Not a very robust design. I notice most of their faucets are similar design when the wand is a pull out.

Is the pull out sprayer made of metal or is it plastic?
A. The Delta 467-DST has a metal base and plastic handle.
When you say it has a metal base and a plastic handle, does that mean the chrome colored spray piece is plastic or just the black colored parts are plastic?
A. Manufacturers are making the handle part of the faucets in plastic because of safety issues. Heat transfer being the main one and then in case the handle is dropped, it will not crack your porcelain sink or scratch your stainless steel sink. They have come up with finishes that look identical to the metal finish.
