James Dyson explains Dyson's Airblade technology on tapConventional washrooms cause problems. With traditional hand dryers you need to move from the sink to a separate drying area, dripping water over the floor in the process. We've developed a tap with integrated Airblade™ technology to combine hand washing and hand drying in one. There is no need to leave the sink - meaning no water on the floor.
Dyson AirBlade Tap Hand Dryer ExplainedNew Airblade technology in a faucet. Hands can be washed and dried without leaving the sink . Hands are dried in 12 seconds.
After developing one of the most efficient hand dryers in the world, Dyson went right back to innovating with the introduction of the AB10. This faucet combines the elements of a traditional sink faucet with the pioneering innovation of Dyson's hand dryer technology. The faucet incorporates Dyson's purpose-built and remarkably efficient 1400 Watt electric motor. This all-in-one unit allows the user to wash and dry all in the same motion. This makes for an experience free from unsightly puddles of water that plague any public restroom. Add value to your business by providing your customers with one of the greatest achievements in hand drying technology. The Dyson Airblade sets the bar higher.
- Your customer's hands will be completely dried in 14 seconds without even leaving the sink.
- Through the use of a HEPA filter, the AB10 is one of the most hygienic hand dryers available.
- The energy-efficient Dyson motor makes operating costs significantly cheaper.
- Each Airblade utilizes touch-free operation.
- Hands can be washed and dried at the sink which saves space and keeps water from puddling.
- The Dyson Airblade is tough, durable and easy to service.
- Airblade Technology™:
The Dyson Digital motor is a masterpiece of modern engineering. The motor’s brushless configuration allows it to draw up to 28 liters of air per second at an astounding 92,000 rpm. This combined with the Airblade design allows for airspeeds of up to 420 mph which effortlessly removes water the from the user's hands. Despite the enormous volume and velocity, the motor itself is delightfully quiet and produces no more than 85 decibels when in use. The technological synergy between the Dyson Digital Motor and the Airblade design makes for a unit that is truly at the pinnacle of hand drying efficiency and performance.
- HEPA Filter:
The HEPA, or High-Efficiency Particulate Air, designation for air filters is derived from the standards set forth by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. To meet this standard, a filter must remove a minimum of 99.97% of particles that measure a size of .3 micrometers that pass through it. The Dyson Airblade proudly utilizes this filtration unit as a means of sanitarily drying the users hands, leaving them clean and refreshed. Typical hand dryers do not use such a filter and simply recirculate ambient air. Dyson has always placed a high value on cleanliness in all of its products and now you can count on that standard holding true in their Airblade series of hand dryers.
