Product Technologies and Benefits:
Precision Kerox Cartridges: The cartridge’s job is to deliver smooth handle operation and water flow, throughout hundreds of thousands of uses, without ever leaking – all while under a punishing 60 pounds-per-square-inch of pressure. For these reasons, it is quite literally what “makes or breaks” the faucet. Kraus understands this, so they take no shortcuts here, importing their cartridges from the world’s leading manufacturer of high-end precision ceramic disc cartridges, Kerox in Hungary.
Swiss-Made NeoPerl Aerators: Aerators are possibly the most under-appreciated component within faucets. Not only do they soften the stream (preventing splashing), but they also control the straightness, diameter, overall delivery of water. Fortunately, like their cartridges, Kraus recognizes this and chooses to takes no gambles here – they import their aerators from NeoPerl in Switzerland, the world’s leading manufacturer for high-end and specialty aerators.
Heavily Certified: Kraus has gone to great lengths to be able to provide you, the homeowner, the rest-easy satisfaction knowing that your faucet is certified and listed by all the major product testing boards in the U.S. and Canada. This means that this faucet is deemed safe to use and that it meets all applicable building codes. Certifications and listings include: UPC, cUPC, CSA, IAPMO, ANSI and SCC.

Good Design, Cheap componentsThe faucet is elegant and well-designed. It was easy to install but needed extra-thickness support. Because it is very tall, installing it in the sheetmetal of the sink alone made it very wobbly. The "Faucet Extender" included is useless for this purpose. I made a 1" thick plate of HDPE plastic instead that works very well.
The faucet started leaking at the handle 3 months after installation. A call to customer service was well-received and resulted in them shipping a new cartridge immediately. I am afraid that the cartridge is made of cheap materials and will not last long.
Overall, I am disappointed in the quality. Saving costs will result in a relatively short lifetime.

Quite niceLooks nice, seems pretty well built for the price (the spray head is plastic, but otherwise everything is solid). We put this in our new kitchen, having had the same type of goose neck faucet in our old kitchen. It was easy to install and looks good.
Our old faucet had a weight to assist in retracting the spray head and this one has a spring, which automatically retracts the head. I thought I'd like that, but I don't. One of the nice things about this kind of faucet is you can leave the head hanging down low in the sink on "spray" and wash veggies and whatnot without splashing everywhere. With the self-retract feature, you can't do that. So we took off the spring, and need to figure out some sort of weight to help with the retraction. Really no big deal, and a personal preference. Overall, I'd buy it again.

In compatible with mulihole sinksThis product is unsuitable for any retro fit project that has more than one hole in the sink/counter since there is no way to reconfigure this faucet or use cover plates.

Combo Faucet Sink SoapI purchased the combo package for three hundred for our kitchen remodel. The sink was installed by the granite fabricator, but I installed the faucet and hooked up all the rest. I've never installed anything but a new garbage disposal. Some things to note-
First because this is a single post/hole, the hot/cold and spray head lines are really, really tight coming out under the sink. There was no way I could get one of the water supply lines screwed on, they were clustered too tight. A Home Depot guy said you have to bend it out very gently/carefully so you can access it and screw the other water supply on. I did that...very gently, and did get it screwed on there. Others have commented on this, but I think it is inherent in the single-post design.
Secondly, I had to figure out that you don't use either of the Kraus drains in the bottom of the sink for your existing garbage disposal. You use the pieces that came with your garbage disposal, so set the Kraus aside. You do use one of the drain mounts in the other sink hole.
Thirdly, I didn't think we would bother with the soap dispenser, but we had the granite guy do a hole for it, and I really like it. My wife says she needs two hands to squirt it...one hand under the soap dispense hole and the other to push the soap to squirt. I can one-hand it without a problem and love the dispenser below the surface. It looks better.
All in all I'm very happy with the Kraus product and would buy again.

Great FaucetEasy to install, arrived quickly and undamaged, looks great. Very powerful water flow...love it! Hose is a bit stiff, but not so much so that it interferes with the usefulness.

KPF 1621 Great FaucetMost of the reviews are comments that owners of this unit had for 2 weeks or a little more. I have owned this unit for over a year ,no parts ever broke or even scratched. the best part of this faucet is the spray, it truly cleans off food from plates and utensils. I sold the house KPF 1621 was I'm buying another one for my new house which was supplied with a Kohler, to bad the cost has gone up!
