Exquisitely versatile, the Abbey by Kwikset is right at home in almost any style décor. Its rounded handle is proportioned to fit the palm of the hand, beautifully. This is a keyed entry door knob set that slightly differs from most Keyed Knobs. This knob locks and unlocks from the exterior by a key. The interior knob is always unlocked (free) but you can lock the exterior side from the interior with the turnbutton located on the interior knob. Some people say the risk with this type of knob is that when you turn the interior knob to leave, you must remember to check if the exterior knob is in the locked or unlocked position. By turning the interior knob, it does not unlock the exterior knob, it is just a free interior knob and the exterior will remain in whichever position it was before you turned it. Some people prefer this type of knob because you can leave without having to get out your keys to lock the door.
