The well-rounded indoor units feature several convenient operation modes, and each includes a wireless remote controller, making it easy for you to enjoy zoned comfort.

Features:

• LG's mini split indoor units include a dehumidifying operation mode. In this mode, the unit's internal sensors monitor temperature and modify the set point and fan speed to remove moisture from the air.

• Integrated Base Pan Heater: Base pan heaters come factory installed on all LGRED° outdoor condensers in order to mitigate the risk of damage caused by freezing condensate.

• Inverter Technology: LG's multi-zone outdoor condensers are designed with powerful, efficient inverter technology. An electronic expansion valve and a variable speed condenser compressor carefully regulate the refrigerant flow, reducing energy consumption.

• Gold Fin Protection: To ensure the reliability and longevity of the LMU480HHV's heat exchanger, LG employs a Gold Fin coating that prevents corrosion and improves durability.

• Quiet Design: Thanks to a brushless direct current fan motor, both the outdoor and indoor units in this system produce less mechanical and electrical noise, allowing them to provide comfort that doesn't disrupt your home.

• Air Flow Options: This unit gives you two options for automating air flow. In swing mode, the unit will rotate through all four air flow directions and with the Chaos Wind feature, it cycles both air flow direction and fan speed.

• Self-Cleaning Coil: These wall mounted indoor units feature self-cleaning heat exchanger coils that automatically remove dirt and moisture. This helps to prevent unpleasant odors and to combat the formation of mold.

• Jet Temperature Control: Getting your Zone Comfortable quickly is no problem thanks to the Jet Cool mode with these indoor units. With the press of a button, your system will operate at maximum output to provide rapid zoned cooling.

• Improved Air Quality: All of LG's wall mounted multi-zone mini split indoor units keep your air clean with a washable anti-fungal filter.

• Hot Start: When the hot start function is enabled on a mini split indoor unit, the fan will not engage until the indoor coil is up to temperature. This prevents the unit from blowing cold air during heating operations.

Required Components:

• Line Set: Line set tubing transfers refrigerant between your outdoor condenser and indoor units
• Drain Line: The drain line removes the condensate from your system. It connects your system to the drain location of your choosing
• Connecting Cable: The connecting cable provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser
• Branch Box: The branch box connects to the condenser and allows for multiple refrigerant lines to be connected to your indoor evaporators
• Disconnect Box and Electrical Whip Kit: The disconnect box and whip kit gives an easy way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box
