Not greatThese are much more of a spot light. They realy need a difuser in front of them. Also the light is much whiter than indicated. I would say 4500++ and no where near 3,500.

A. There is no distance requirement for the counter length for the Maxim 87883 light kit. It depends on your need to purchase 3 or 1 and we do have the Maxim 87881 single light available as well.
Is there an option to hard wire the lights instead of using the plug in?
A. The Maxim 87883 is capable of being hardwired to a switch with the compatible box purchased seperately. The box is MX 87803.
Are these lights dimmable?
A. Yes, the Maxim 87883 is dimmable.
Can I have nine lights on one 15 amp circut?
A. The Maxim 87883 will be supported by one 15 amp circut.

A. You could chain together the 87883 & 87881 as the 87881 comes with a connector to link them. Unfortunately these cannot be hardwired (even if you wanted to incorporate the 87803).

A. The Maxim 87883 does include the bulbs.

The Maxim 87883 would not be able to be recessed as it could affect the connection wires from being attached properly.
What is the spread of the light in inches on at countertop that is standard distance below an upper cabinet?
The cables are 18" in length. Maxim said that this would be the furthest you can spread the lights apart to where you will still have even lighting underneath the cabinet.
Is this transformer driven or hardwired?
The Maxim 87883 can be hardwired or plug into the wall. Included with the kit is a plug in power supply and 2 cables to connect the other pucks to the puck that is plugged in. A direct wire driver or transformer is available if you would like to hardwire the puck to a wall switch.
