A. On the Moen T3112 the drain cover is sold separately.
We ordered a T3112ORB for shower which was recommended for our valve. However, our valve does not have a ceramic disc to attach the escutcheon. Can this part be ordered separately?
A. The Moen T3112 doesn't have a part for the ceramic disc and the correct valve would have to be ordered. There are a few valves that will work the 3510, 3520, 3570.
Can I use this trim set with the IODigital controller?
A. The Moen T3112 shower head can be sued with an IO Digital controller but the valve trim will not work.
what is the difference between T3112 & T2112
A. The main difference between the Moen T3112 and the Moen T2112 is that the T3112 had a volume control while the T2112 does not.
will this faucet replace a "pull on" type as in Moen T181..
A. I am sorry but I do not understand what you mean by "pull on" please clarify.
I have a very old shower system that I want to upgrade without breaking tile and changing plumbing. Other than the adapter part for changing a standard system to the moentrol, will this work for me? I have a push/pull knob right now with a standard arrangement.
A. Moen trims must be used with Moen valves, unless you have the correct valves, this will not work.
I'm told by Moen, that I need to order this as 'moentrol trim' to enable it to fit my current Model 82000 valve (with and adapter). How do I do that on this web site?
A. The Moen T3112 is a Moentrol shower trim.
Is the Moen T3112 trim kit compatible with the Moen 3570 valve?
A. The Moen T3112 can be used with the 3570 Valve. I hope this helps!
Can I use the Moen T3112 with the 3972 diverter spout?
A. The Moen T3112 can be used with the Moen 3972 diverter tub spout. A Tub and Shower Rough-In valve is required so that you will have the needed plumbing conections for a tub spout.
How do I know which rough in valve to pick - there are 3 choices!
A. The 3510 and 3520 are basically the same except for the way they connect to the pipes. The 3510 uses threaded pipes and the 3520 uses soldering. The 3570 has service stops, so if you were to have a problem you can shut the water off at the valve.
Is this showerhead the same as the 6302?
A. The showerhead that ships with the Moen T3112 is the 6302.
will this fit a standard moen valve with adaptor kit #145058
A. Yes, the Moen T3112 will fit the standard Moen valve with adapter kit #145058.
How is the volume controlled?
The Moentrol handle controls the volume by pulling the handle out towards you and turning left or right to adjust the temperature.
Is the T3112 Kingsley collection shower head metal?

Like many retailers, Build.com can choose to set its own prices independently. And even though manufacturers require Build.com and other retailers to display a product's "minimum advertised price" (or MAP), the retailer can choose to sell for less than that. But the price must be conveyed in other ways, and each individual manufacturer's MAP policy determines where the price can be seen.
