Quiet Humidity Sensing Bath Fan -110 CFM, 0.7 Sones, Energy Star
Simple to Install, Simple to Operate...Simple
I grew tired of fogged bathroom mirrors and windows, and the mold and mildew threat such clinging moisture encourages. The solution was the QTXEN110S Humidity Sensing Bathroom Fan. I recommend going with a 6-inch duct to maximize air flow. The only oddity I encountered was the way in which you activate the fan to exhaust odors; namely: flip the wall switch from ON to OFF, pause for a second or two, and then flip the switch from OFF back to ON. Even with the company’s suggested two-function switch, you still have to flip a switch back and forth. If they had invested an additional fifteen bucks in design and development, they could have offered a push-button solution that would have been more elegant for such a sophisticated unit. And, yes, I would have paid the extra fifteen bucks. That one issue aside, I am very satisfied with the unit’s humidity-sensing feature, near-silent operation, and efficiency.

Quiet, works well
The fan is quiet, the humidity switch works well, the fan clears the room of steam, works well enough to buy another one for the house.

I bought a fan for the other bathroom from Costco because they tend to have great products for the price. But I was disappointed. It was pretty noisy and not very effective. So, I ordered this one for the second bath and couldn't be happier. I just hard-wired it in. It kicks on when it's needed and turns off when it's finished. I'm thinking of chucking out the other one, even though it's new, and replacing with one of these NuTone fans.

It Fully Meets Expectations
This is an excellent product - super quiet and very efficient. But it does need 6 inch ductwork and roof cap to function as intended. Using smaller size duct and roof cap is not recommended.

Good product at reasonable price
Product arrived promptly in great condition. Contractor broke off a small piece while installing the fan, but the replacement part was easy to locate and inexpensive. Only reason I could not give 5 starts is because fan is not up and running yet, therefore, I cannot comment on performance.
