Room-To-Room Utility Ventilatory, 90 CFM, 3.5 Sones
I am using this fan to exhaust the hot air from a server I have in a closet under the stairs. The fan exhausts the hot air from up high and cold air is drawn in under the door. The fan is a little loud at full speed. So make sure to get the speed controller. With the speed controlling switch you can set the perfect balance between silent and loud. The wall was also thicker than expected. I was able to overcome this by bending the bracket that holds the faceplate on. And by purchasing a 6 inch diameter extension piece and using alumium tape to bridge the gap of about 1.5 inches that I was short. Looks great works great.

installed one of these fans about 7 years ago in a bath room. it had to be through the wall, ceiling was not an option. installed a plastic louver on the outside. has been running great for 7 years. i had an extra one so i used it above the shower in an apartment i built. a few feet of duct and insulation with outside louver on the side of the house. works great. i am building another house and need another through the wall fan, so, i was just looking to see if broan still made them. glade to see they do.

This product was installed in partition wall of a horse trailer to cool and ventilate the rear compartment. The fan is small, powerful but quiet and moves a fair amount of air from the living quarters to the livestock area.
I am please with the product and how easily it was installed.

I already had one of these installed, but after a LONG time the motor failed. I ordered a new fan to get the motor, which I easily replaced to fix the problem.
