If the ducting for the bathroom exhaust fan goes through the atic to the roof cap, do I need to use insulated or regular flexible duct?
A. You would just use non insulated ducting.
Do you happen to know the R value of this insulated flexible duct?
A. The Broan DT4W has an R-value of 4.3.
Have Broan744 fan-will duct dt4w fit it? Is there a wye for these two products? I have back-to-back baths?
A. You will want to use Broan DT4C 4" x 25ft. Non-Insulated Round Flexible Ducting, because you do not insulate exhaust ducting. The wye you would use is the Continental Fan Manufacturing WYE-04 4" Round Duct Y-Fitting for Ducted Home Fan Systems.
Is this meant to be used for HRV?
The Broan DT4W is the correct type of piping for HRV. However, be sure it is the needed size.
Why don't we show the price?
Like many retailers, Build.com can choose to set its own prices independently. And even though manufacturers require Build.com and other retailers to display a product's "minimum advertised price" (or MAP), the retailer can choose to sell for less than that. But the price must be conveyed in other ways, and each individual manufacturer's MAP policy determines where the price can be seen.
To see the price for this product at Build.com, you'll need to place it in your shopping cart, and maybe even proceed to final checkout. If you're not ready to buy the product, simply remove it from the cart.
Build.com apologizes for any inconvenience. We'd just like to offer you the chance to save extra money while we adhere to manufacturers' MAP policies. Build.com is also working to educate manufacturers on how their policies impact customers and their buying behavior.
