Traditional / Classic Indoor Ceiling Fan from the Four Seasons Collection
Difference between a Cadillac and a Mercedes
I've purchased an installed quite a few ceiling fans in my day. There are the so-so Hampton Bays or Harbour Breeze fans or what I used to call the Cadillac of fans, Hunter. Now Hunter is a good fan, used to be great but lately the "5 Minute fans" are just so-so. I've owned a couple of Casablanca fans and each one of them is impressive. The installation is straight forward and the materials are superior. Yes they are more expensive but as they say, "You get what you pay for". If you want a Mercedes, Casablanca is for you.

Very good ceiling fan w/ remote control
This fan was installed with the standard 3" extension rod that comes with the fan, in a 15' x 12' master bedroom with a 10-foot coffered celing. The fan was installed with the remote control option (Casablanca WRF3 unit purchased separately), and is completely controlled by the remote (i.e., there is no wall plate with on/off, speed control, and reverse). We have been using the fan for a little over 1 month, and we love the quietness of the fan during operation, and the air flow it produces. A key feature for us is the fact that the remote control is a silent remote, and operates the fan without any sounds or beeping. If my wife or I wish to turn the fan on or off or adjust the speed during the night, we can do so from the comfort of our bed without disturbing the other person.

Nice Ceiling Fan
You can't go wrong with a Casablanca Ceiling Fan! So many styles to choose from. This is our second purchase of this model one is 42" this one is 52", both in White. The white color blends nicely with the ceiling and makes it less obtrusive in the room. Fan is quiet and moves plenty of air for selectable comfort. I'd purchase another Casablanca before considering any other brand.
