Inspired by You: 3 Stylish Bathroom Remodels
Get inspired by before and after bathroom remodels from real customers.
We’re often surprised and inspired by how our customers use Build.com products to transform their homes. From classic color palettes to bold style mashups, these spaces are as unique as the people who created them. Here are three of our favorite DIY bathroom remodels.
Modern Marble
Marble has been a go-to building material for thousands of years. Until recently, the polished version was reserved for traditional spaces like grand foyers and posh powder rooms. DIYers and interior designers alike are now using it as a backdrop for a wide range of styles. Here, it’s paired with chrome fixtures, glass shower doors, and a black & white mosaic shower floor for a clean, modern feel. Durable, wood-look tiles add a warm counterpoint to the cool color palette.
Contemporary Textures
A neutral color story can be bold. This earthy palette gets its punch from a variety of textures. Rough, irregular stone on the floor and backsplash evoke cobblestone streets, bringing a timeless, old-world charm to this otherwise contemporary bathroom. The simple shape of the pendant lights makes the seedy glass shades even more striking. Sleek, refined lines in the faucet, mirror, and door hardware balance the look.
Eclectic Chic
The yin-yang quality of this master bathroom proves that opposites attract. One side of the room has a rustic/industrial vibe with its exposed-brick backsplash, wall-mounted black faucets, concrete sinks and rough-hewn cabinetry. The other side, with its smooth, white finishes and crystal chandelier, is reflected in the mirror. Carefully placed accessories — crystal votives on the vanity, a rustic basket on the tub, and green potted plants — pull the two styles together.
